By using Sermon Keeper, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Audio Recordings: Sermon recordings you create or upload
- Photos of Bible Pages: Photos you take or select from your library to generate scripture study cards
- Notes: Text notes you add during or after recordings
- Recording Details: Titles, dates, folders, and other metadata you provide
- Service Schedule: The day and time of your weekly service, if you choose to answer the setup questions. This is kept on your device and used only to schedule reminders.
Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version
- App Settings: Language preference, subscription status
- Usage Data: Anonymous app interactions used to improve the App
- Crash Diagnostics: Anonymized crash reports used to fix bugs
Information We Do NOT Collect
- Precise location data
- Contacts or address book
- Biometric data
- Browsing history
- Sensitive personal information
2. No Account Required
Sermon Keeper does not ask you to create an account, sign in, or give us an email address. There is no login, and we hold no profile for you. Your subscription is tied to the Apple ID you buy it with, and Apple does not share your identity with us.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide transcription of your audio recordings
- Generate AI-powered summaries of sermons
- Generate scripture study cards from photos of Bible pages
- Display Bible verse text when you reference scripture
- Schedule reminders on your device before and after your service
- Manage your subscription
- Diagnose crashes and improve the App
We do NOT use your data for:
- Training AI models
- Selling to third parties
- Advertising or marketing purposes
4. Third-Party Services
To provide our services, we share data with third-party providers for audio transcription, AI summary generation, scripture study card generation, anonymous analytics, crash reporting, and payments. These providers are located in the USA and process your data according to their own privacy policies.
Third-party services used by the App do not use your data for training their AI models.
5. Data Storage and Processing
- Local Storage: Your recordings and notes are stored on your device
- iCloud: If enabled, data syncs via Apple iCloud under Apple's privacy practices
- Cloud Processing: Audio recordings and Bible page photos are temporarily uploaded to secure cloud storage solely for processing. Files are automatically deleted from cloud storage after processing is complete. We do not retain your audio or photos on our servers.
- Text Processing: Transcribed text is temporarily sent to a third-party AI service to generate summaries. The text is not stored on our servers after processing.
- Reminders: Scheduled and delivered by your own device. The times are not sent to us.
When you delete the App, all local data is permanently removed from your device.
6. Data Security
We protect your information by:
- Using secure connections (HTTPS) for all data transfers
- Automatically deleting audio files and photos from cloud storage after processing
- Relying on iOS built-in security for local storage
- Not permanently storing sensitive data on our servers
However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Request information about your data
- Delete: Remove your data by deleting the App
- Cancel: Cancel your subscription anytime through Apple Settings

8. Children's Privacy
Sermon Keeper does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
